Early 19th Century Biedermeier walnut and cherry secrétaire cabinet on stand. The moulded cornice top has inlaid detail and below is a fall revealing three drawers and pigeon holes. The fall and top of the frieze drawer have sunburst pattern inlay, creating a mirrored effect. The stand has a slate back and scrolled supporting front legs, terminating in lion's paw feet.

An excellent writing desk with storage space, with a contemporary feel.
