Here we have a wonderful high quality Edwardian Oak desk c1910. As you can see the desk has great colour and patina. There is a tooled leather skiver tho the top. There is a shallow border to the top with a stepped moulded edge.The Oak throughout this desk has been carefully quarter sawn to maximise the medullary rays within the Oak grain. The drawer fronts have quarter sawn Oak, a thumb moulded edge and original brass swan neck handles. The drawer linings are all solid Mahogany including bases and internal dust beads. There are stile legs which are internally chamfered as in keeping with the desk being very much in the Georgian taste. The sides and rear of the desk are finished in solid Oak and the desk is in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 137 cm wide 68 cm deep 78 cm high.
