Very attractive Davenport writing desk, in finest burr walnut. English C 1880.

This honey coloured burr walnut Davenport has ormoulu mouldings and gallery, brass inkwells and stands on white china castors.

The door to the right opens to reveal four satinwood drawers. The lid has a fine green writing surface and rises to show spaces for stationary.

Seen here in top showroom condition, this delightful Davenport desk is ready for many more years of useful service.
