Danish Vintage Rosewood Model 54 Desk by Kai Kristiansen
An absolutely spectacular Danish vintage rosewood model 54 desk by Kai Kristiansen. Designed in 1954, this was made in Denmark by Feldballes Mobelfabrik in the 1950-60’s.
It is of amazing quality and has an incredible design. The top has an asymmetrical shape, on one side of the desk there is a bank of drawers with inset sculpted handles. The other side has a cylindrical cabinet section with a tambour door that rolls back to reveal an amazing mirrored revolving drinks cabinet. Above that is a circular drawer with built in dividers that can also spin when opened. The back of this is also beautifully finished with open adjustable bookshelves. This sits on four tapered legs, the legs can unscrew and detach for ease of transport.
The colour and grain patterns are stunning, we have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard. The condition is superb throughout.
