Classic lines, Georgian Mahogany Dining Chairs
A lovely set of Mahogany Dining chairs from around 1800 or perhaps a touch earlier with a string inlay in the back / top rail. This set has the classic simple lines so appealing from the Georgian era. They have good sized seat and the bow shape in the back to give extra comfort. The timber is really nice and clean and the upholstery has just been redone, that is also in great condition of course.
The legs have support strechers to give rigidity, a number of Georgian sets do not and over the last 200 or so years a lot of strain gets applied to the joints.
In this really tidy condition this set is not dear. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
