This is an unusual piece it has a attractive curved and upholstered tester with finely turned finials. It has Carved and Inlaid bed posts at one end and an upholstered head board at the other
The drapes on the canopy are old and authentic but it would be a fairly straight forward piece to re do in your own choice of fabric
The bed dismantles for it is a total frame surround which could enclose a Single divan or could have its own base and mattress if preferred, it has the appearance of a Sedan chair and would look delightful in a young ladies bedroom
