Antique Open Chair - Victorian - c1880
This pleasing open chair is crafted with a mahogany show frame and in good antique order throughout.
The chair rides upon quality turned legs to the front and benefits from original solid brass castors. The sweeping style of the design produces a visually interesting piece.
The chair is of a good build quality and will make a lovely hallway, study, lounge or bedroom piece.
The chair offers a nice seat height at 43cm (16.9") and is a comfortable place to rest.
The seat is covered with a quality textile which is presented in serviceable condition and edged with a matching double rope detail. The piece is traditionally upholstered and features a six button back.
