Burr Walnut & Ormolu Mounted Credenza Side Cabinet
Fine quality late 19th.c. burr walnut and ormolu mounted credenza side cabinet c.1880. Display cabinets with curved glass doors either side of a large central cupboard fitted with a single shelf (internal depth 11½”). Highly figured burr walnut veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the top with an inlaid border and ebonsized thumb moulded edge. Burr walnut front with a fine inlaid frieze over turned and inlaid columns and beautiful marquetry door panel. With extensive and original gilded ormolu mouldings and mounts across the piece. Wear to the original lining fabric, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
