Yew, Elm & Fruitwood Windsor - Superb Example - c1850
This excellent 'Northern' Windsor chair is a classic design originating from Yorkshire/Nottinghamshire area of England.
This piece benefits from a gorgeous lightness of colour throughout.
It is in great order and is a strong and solid example. The robust look of the chair with its' sturdy turned parts and wide arm hoop is typical of the style and makes for a very pleasing chair.
Overall an excellent example and wonderfully comfortable too.
