Antique fine quality brass inlaid rosewood elbow desk chair carver. R. Garnett and Sons, Warrington.
A great rare find and very decorative. The best age, colour and patina.
Dates from the first 20 years of the 20th Century.
Solid, heavy and strong with no loose joints. No woodworm.
The upholstery is not new, but only has minor marks and signs of use. We could get this chair reupholstered for £40 in a client's fabric and trim if required.
Overall maximum dimensions:
60cmW x 56cmD x 81cmH (38cmH seat, 60.5cmH arms).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. A small piece the brass inlay is missing from the back.
