This is an excellent example of a Thames Valley Windsor armchair in very good order. This particular chair is not stamped but is reminiscent of those designed by Robert Prior and made in his Uxbridge workshops. Mr Prior had a penchant for incorporating the Prince of Wales’ Feathers motif in the central backsplat. For more information see “The English Regional Chair’ by Bernard D Cotton.
