A silver open face pocket watch made by the famous maker Berthoud in France in 1840. Berthoud was a very famous and important watch maker it’s a real privilege to own a watch from Berthoud in your collection

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has black hands and a painted scene of a man at the seaside and a boat.
MOVEMENT: The full plate gilt fusee verge movement is in working order with the plus of just coming back from the watchmaker however we cannot guarantee accuracy as it is an antique watch. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator disk, plain round pillars between the plates.
CASE: The watch lies in a plain silver case which fits perfectly with the movement. Berthoud was a very famous and important watch maker it’s a real privilege to own a watch from Berthoud in your collection.
