A lovely Victorian pine desk. We date this desk to the second half of the 19th century.

The desk sits on four downward tapered turned legs.

The main table is fitted with two drawers. The drawers are fitted with brass industrial cup handles and locks (no key is supplied but should be obtainable if required).

At the rear of the desk there is an area for pens and a small gallery behind to stop them falling off the table, there is a well at each side where the ink would have been in the past.

The desk has a height of 30" (76cm), a width of 47" (120cm) and a depth of 21.5" (55cm).

This well loved Victorian desk remains in very good solid condition. The table top has been refinished at some time in the past. There are a variety of light scratches, graffiti marks and indentations to the table top and wear to some edges. There are some marks on the inside of the drawers.

This remains a very stylish and elegant antique Victorian desk which could function well as a working, writing table. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
