Attractive 1930s Vintage Oak Tambour Door Desk
Looking great with the added, lesser seen, bonus of a tambour door to the left revealing a set of 6 pull out filers. This was a Black Country find alongside numerous other vintage office pieces which we were fortunate to salvage.
It sits well with the benefit of being of smaller proportions than some from an industrial background. The setup is straightforward and workmanlike – a long arched middle drawer, to the right a top drawer with a lower deeper drawer for files, two typing slides and that rather good tambour door with storage to the left.
Workshop report – The desk survives in good order. The tambour is working fine, the 3 drawers are running as they should – we have usage marks to the insides but clean. The frame sits firm with no wobbles and we do have usage marks, scuffs and rubs- to be expected! The top is age marked but nothing nasty. We have lightly waxed the piece and ensured its ready for placement.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
