Antique Arts and Crafts Victorian walnut bedroom, hall or side chair with a beadworks seat.
A light weight, quality, decorative and attractive feature chair.
Very rare and unusual....a bit special.
Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.
No loose joints or wobbles. The delicate nature and styling of this chair suggest that although it is perfectly usable, it will not stand up to heavy use or abuse.
The beadwork seat upholstery is very old, marked, worn and has some losses (see photos), but is usable.

45cmW x 45cmD x 82cmH (40cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historical repairs, as is the norm, but all is solid now. We have not inspected components concealed beneath the upholstery.
