Arts & Crafts Shapland & Petter coat rack
Lovely Arts & Crafts hall rack made by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple with impressed number R1158 84 to reverse.
This had a lovely stencilled panel and all original brass hooks. Dimensions are 112cms in width, 32cms in height and 12cms deep at the hooks.
Please note that the raised oak cabochon above the centre panel is a later addition and has been very professionally done matching perfectly in grain. This covers a hole where it would have been used to attach the rack to the wall.
There are three such holes - the other two covered by brass hooks. PLEASE NOTE, RED HOUSE ANTIQUES HAS NOW RETIRED.
