This is a solid Mahogany Scottish School Arts & Crafts Elbow Chair. It is raised on tapered legs wtih set back elbow rest supports. It has a very unusual back with two pierced splats and a pireced top rail. The upper back section is tapered in with inlay to the back supports, splats and top rail. It is a lovely chair and a really good item. The catalogue number is stamped underneath "1578".
