This is a solid oak Victorian Arts & Crafts Glastonbury chair. A classic vernacular chair revived by William Morris and John Ruskin as they re-learnt many lost skills of artist craftsmen lost due to the invention of the factory system. A lovely chair and a real style icon of this period.
