Striking Art Nouveau silver photograph frame by FJ Hall, Birmingham 1904. Shaped silver frame mounted on a solid oak backing with hinged support. Retaining tabs to top corners together with swivel clip to secure its back-board. Hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office 1904 and silversmith FJ Hall. The frame's maximum external dimensions are 20.5 cm in height and 15 cm in width. Its aperture measures 13 cm x 9 cm.
The frame is in overall excellent condition commensurate with age. The oak back is complete and is solid. Back-board is effectively retained in position. Very minor signs of age/use to the silver as seen in images. Please see images as these form an important part of the description. Viewing welcomed - please contact us in advance.
