This rosewood and brass antique jewellery box / jewellery casket is one of Erhard & Sohne's iconic designs. This box is from their 1905 collection, it’s design reflects the height of the Art Nouveau era with the organic lines and curved shapes.

On the inside, there is a tray, with the same blue velvet as lines the lid and inside of the box. There is nearly no wear.

Overall, the jewellery box is in premier condition with no damage. There is a lock and original working key.

There is something to note on this box that is unusual. On the bottom of the box is stamped G.G. Leykauf, Nurenberg. I am assuming that the reason for this is that the tray on the inside was made by them. In my research, I have found another box of this design where the Hinkels logo is stamped on the inside of the lid as the tray inside stored Hinkles manicure tools. To provide a level of assurance that this is an Erhard & Sohne box, I have included a page from their 1905 catalogue that shows this box as one of their products.
