French Art Nouveau Bronze by Jean Antoine Injalbert 1845-1933 depicting a laughing child. Signed and foundry stamped (Siot Decauville). Excellent condition on a red marble octagonal base. Height 10 inches. The identical bronze (including the base) is featured and illustrated in the major reference work, Bronzes of the 19th Century: Dictionary of Sculptors by Pierre Kjellberg. We can provide a copy of the extract. Preferred method of payment is by bank transfer (UK faster payment or to our €Euro account) which incurs no additional costs or charges.
