A smart vintage sterling silver photograph frame with the original solid English Oak backing incorporating a folding easel stand. The stand can be used in two ways, always highly sought after, allowing the frame to be used in both a portrait and landscape configuration.

The silver has a very attractive engine turned decoration with a mosaic of hexagonal motifs, almost like a 43954 design with a Greek key border.

The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1927 together with the makers initials for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

Excellent condition measuring 8 3/4" x 6 1/4" with a glazed aperture measuring 7" x 4 1/2".
