A really unusual vintage silver plated cocktail shaker by the creme de la creme of silver plate manufacturers, Elkington and Co.

The set comprises a very stylish cocktail shaker with a skyscraper engine turned design on alternate facets of the body together with an engine turned band around the top and six small matching cups / beakers with the alternate facets engine turned.

Each piece is signed on the underside for Elkington and dates to c.1940.

All pieces are in excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. A rare and truly stylish set.

The shaker measures 3 1/2" in diameter x 8 1/4" tall each cup stands 2 1/8" tall x 2 1/8" in diameter.
