Antique Victorian walnut davenport
An excellent quality 19th century Victorian burr walnut piano top pop up davenport. This jack in the box model is highly desirable having the more sought after rising mechanism concealing a series of pigeon holes with the more elegent piano top opening to reveal an adjustable leather topped writing slope. The right side has four graduated drawers with original handles with four faux opposing drawers. The whole is raised on original feet on concealed swivel castors. This piece of antique furniture writing desk table would grace any home and has been fully restored and is ready to place in the home. Circa 1860.
