A magnificent antique Victorian balloon back chair in beautifully figured walnut with padded back. A really good quality chair in heavy well carved walnut, it has a carved and shaped top rail with an upholstered oval shaped back. It stands on carved and shaped cabriole legs with floral carving to the knees and scroll feet. Newly recovered, solid and sturdy and in good original condition. Would make a wonderful desk chair or bedroom chair.

Good original condition. Beautiful warm colour and patina. Solid frame. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered (horsehair).
