A magnificent antique Victorian balloon back chair in beautifully figured walnut. It has a shaped top rail with a double circle crossing in the back with carved foliage and scrolls. It stands on carved and shaped cabriole legs with flowers carved to the knees and scroll feet. Newly Reupholstered in a jacquard fabric with a design of flowers and leaves in olive green and pale blue on a cream background.

Walnut.
Condition Report
Solid frame. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered. Lots of worm holes to the seat rail which has been treated with worm killer as a precaution (not visible on the external frame of the chair – only visible underneath the upholstery).
