A nice, antique, Victorian English Sterling Silver Pocket Watch dating from c1893.
The sterling silver case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "JH", the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "t" for 1893/94. The case with nice engine turned engraving to the rear and a central cartouche that is free of engraved initials.
The white enamel dial has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is in good condition.
The movement has the serial number 2818 to match the case, proving both are original and have been together since new. It is key wound and set with the key provided and is in good working order.
The watch measures 52mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 138.3g
