Antique Tray Topped Etagere
Superb quality Mahogany Tray Topped Etagere with Brass string inlay to the tray, legs & sides. A substantial brass rim completes the top. There is a slide either end with original Brass knob & a fold down flap to either side.
Each end is decorated with a bergere panel with 3 spindles above.
The Etagere retains the maker/retailers brass plaque which reads. AMEUBLEMENTS, ROUQUAIROL, 6 PLACE de la SALAMANDRE 6, NIMES.
This is a fabulous quality item of antique furniture from a wealthy area of Southern France.
The Tray is designed to be removed when serving at a table. The tray has a Mahogany frame inlaid with Brass string inlay & the bed of the tray is glass.
