The watch has a Revue stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Limit name. Limit were importers of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK.
The movement is protected by an inner cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside all three covers for Birmingham 1923 with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in lovely condition.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. The bezel is gold plated so is probably a period replacement.
The dial is in super condition with blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
