Antique Silver Double Albert With Coin Fobs
Antique silver double albert with coin fobs.
The T-bar is hallmarked for Birmingham 1913 with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham based manufacturing jewellers and silversmiths H W Ashford & Co.
Each length of chain measures 21cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Each of the links has the lion silver mark, and one link has the H W Ashford maker’s mark.
The clasps also carry the same date and maker’s marks so we can be confident that all the components are original to each other.
The chain comes with two fobs formed from antique American coins, one is an 1854 quarter dollar and the other is a dime.
Total weight of chain and fobs is 46g.
