This is an antique silver display table. An English, walnut table with candle slides in Georgian revival taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Walnut stocks present fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
Supplied with a protective glass insert for the display surface

Display table top set within a tray effect crown moulding
Shaped fascia cascades gently outwards, with drawer along the front
Striking brass handles with ornate decorative backplates to the drawer
To the centre, a matching blind lock escutcheon

Superb pull-out candle slides to each side, with small brass pulls
Broad carved knees with foliate motif over a diamond pattern ground
Shaped apron flourishes set between each leg
Tall, slender cabriole legs terminate in fascinating ball and claw feet
