Antique silver Brandy decanter label, featuring an engraved cental cartouche surrounded by a foliate design. The label is suspended on a chain.
This decanter label is fully hallmarked to the front for Sheffield 1901, and it carries the maker's mark of James Deakin and Sons.
All marks are crisp and clear.
The chain is unmarked but believed to be silver.
James Deakin and Sons (John and William F) worked from the Sidney Works, Matilda Street, Sheffield.
The decanter label measures 6.5 cm (2.5") by 4 cm (1.5"). The label with chain weighs 11g.
