A very nice, Antique, Scottish Silver Fusee Silver Pocket Watch made by J & G Anderson, Carnoustie and dating from c1888.
Carnoustie is a small town on the east cosat of Scotland just east of Dundee.
The plain silver watch case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "WE", the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "O" for 1888/89. The 3/4 plate fusee movement is in good condition and working order, running strongly. The dial is in good condition with a faint harline from teh centre to 12 o'clock (see photo).
