Antique Regency Mahogany Shield Back Elbow Chair
Antique Regency Mahogany Shield Back Elbow Desk Chair and dating from around 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a lovely shield shaped back with vase shaped central back splat and with shepherds crook armrests above a stuff over seat with later scenic needlepoint fabric and stands on squared tapering legs with a spade foot joined by an 'H' stretcher.
Measures 38" high x seat height 17.5" x 22" deep x 24" wide
In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
