Antique Regency Mahogany Reclining Armchair and dating from around 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a reeded frame with shaped slatts to the backrest and shaped padded armrests on a scrolled swan neck support with turned spanderal to the end. It has a deep buttoned back and seat cushion covered in a quality fabric and the base of the seat has a Rosewood sliding frieze which enables the reclining position of the chair. It stands on turned legs on castors.
