Circa 1860, pair of French rosewood armchairs. The shaped, upholstered backs with fluted and foliate carved, pierced and open crest frames, over partially upholstered arms on fluted supports. With generous stuffover seat, and all recently reupholstered in a floral fabric, finishing with green and gold gimp. Standing on cabriole legs with original brass caps and wooden castors
