Superb quality oil painting of a typical Derbyshire village scene. I think it could be Welsh because it was purchased at a local Welsh auction house and they described it as being a local scene.This painting although not signed has the mark of really quality. I would suggest from the style of the painting and condition that this would date from the 1900's

The images are the best I can achieve due to the bounce back from the flash. This may also effect the colours.
