This antique deep buttoned leather swivel desk chair is very comfortable & is full of character. The leather is original & naturally distressed, so it has a great worn in look. At the same time, it’s free from splits or holes. This chair has a height adjustment & a tilt mechanism. It sits on mahogany legs which have wheels underneath. The inside back & seat is deep buttoned leather with plenty of back support & the leather is hand tacked all over. This model of desk chair is commonly know as a directors chair. I would date it to around the 1930-50’s period.
