Antique Italian Marquetry Inlaid Bureau


Circa 1820, unusual Italian marquetry and bone inlaid bureau. The rectangular shaped top with bone inlay and marquetry depicting a cornucopia and flowers, and figures on horses and foliate designs to the flap. Opening to a fitted interior with columns, 2 neat sized drawers with fine quality cast brass handles, and a writing surface with geometric inlay. The graduated drawers to the base have similar marquetry, and it is all standing on bracket feet.
