A superior quality George III mahogany chest of drawers. This large 19th century regency inlaid chest is better than average , retaining a wonderful rich colour and being constructed from the finest quality figured mahogany with an arrangement of two over three drawers all of which are oak lined. The top frieze being cross banded with a boxwood string inlay, All the drawers are graduated in depth so are easy to store those bulky jumpers. The whole is raised on the more desirable, original, ogee shaped bracket feet. The back is also original. Great patina, colour and figuring to the mahogany. Excellent condition. This piece of antique furniture has been fully restored by qualified professional restorers so all the drawers slide smoothly and the whole polished to a fine colour. Measures 45”w x 21”d x 44”h
