A stylish antique 19thCentury French oak bed dating from circa 1880. A non-standard size of 115cm wide, which would accommodate a single (90cm) sized mattress. Comprising of a panelled headboard, footboard and carved side rails (no base or mattress included). In a richly figured quarter-sawn oak with wonderful carving in a Gothic influenced design. Can be easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good condition and good warm patina to the frame. No base or mattress supplied. Will need a base making for it in order to accommodate a mattress.
