A SUPERB, ANTIQUE ENGLISH STERLING SILVER CASKET, LONDON c1906,
A very good quality, Antique, Edwardian English Silver Casket made in London and dating from c1906.
Ideal for use as a small antique jewellery box or trinket box.
The casket is hallmarked with the maker's mark "SWS&Co" for S W Smith & Company, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "l" for 1906/07.
The plain silver exterior of the casket with a lovely dog crest to the front.
The casket measures 90mm in width x 60mm deep and 80mm in height (excluding the handle).
The weight is 185.8g/6.55oz/5.97ozt
