About as fine as they get, this wonderful Edwardian hand mirror is made from English Sterling silver with a full hallmark for Birmingham 1907. The makers initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Levi & Salaman.

The back of the mirror is inset with a large piece of period Tortoise Shell with colours ranging from golden Champagne to rich chocolate brown, polished to show case the beauty of the shell and the intricate inlay.

The inlay is outstanding featuring a basket of flowers, the basket inlaid in gold and the handle, bows and ribbons inlaid in sterling silver. The flowers and foliage are made from a combination of Mother of Pearl and Abalone shell. This is all framed with a raised border.

The bevelled mirror is original and in excellent condition. Superb condition, measuring 10 1/2" x 5 3/8" wide.
