A handsome and unusual desk-top rocking blotter, (see items 35959 and 35961 for matching stamp box and inkwell) with a highly popular hunting / equestrian subject.
The frames and know are made from nickel over brass, with the knob unscrewing to re-fresh the blotting paper when necessary.
The top has two very handsome hunt scenes with hand painted highlighting, superbly executed, each is protected with a glass panel.
Edwardian in era, dating to around 1910. Excellent condition, measuring 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" x 3" tall to top of handle.
