Antique Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Double Bed c1900
Antique Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Double Bed and dating from around 1900.Both the head and foot board are the same and having squared side posts with moulded cap to the top with a curved top rail above slatted supports and an inlaid satinwood panel to the centre depicting a crocus. This is above a further panel with inlaid stringing and it stands on squared and tapering legs. It has its original sprung base with drop in side rails in very good condition and takes a standard double mattress
Measures 54" high to headboard x 42" high to footboard x 80" long x 54" wide
In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
