Very smart looking antique Edwardian mahogany bureau with fine inlays & other interesting features. This piece is also very useful if you're short of space, because it sits very flat against the wall. It's solid mahogany & of high quality throughout. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate all the fine features. The interior is well fitted out with compartments, a pen holder & space for the inkwell. The sides & legs are nicely shaped, plus there's a strong looking bottom shelf with a shaped gallery. There's a lock & key for the desk section. The drawer has original brass handles. This bureau dates from the 1890-1910 period & is in excellent condition.
