Antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany salon armchair

This is a top quality Antique Edwardian armchair. It dates to about 1910 and is made in mahogany. The chair has a high back and enclosed arms. It stands on tapering legs with spade feet. Just look at the satinwood inlay to this chair. It shrieks quality. The arm supports, front legs and apron and shaped back rail are all inlaid as are the arms. The inlay is crisp and glows. It is beautiful.
The chair is in good condition. Joints solid. Minor age related marks as you would expect. The upholstery is old but serviceable and appropriate to the age and style of the chair and you wouldn't want to change it.
This is a very opulent looking Edwardian armchair and would look good in a well furnished principal room.
The armchair is 43 inches high at the back and the arms are 25 inches from outside to outside and the seat is 17 inches high.
