A smart and very useful antique writing bureau, beautifully made from burr walnut. This is in the antique Georgian style & dates from around 1900-1920’s

It’s of very high quality and is a great size. It is slim and doesn’t take up too much space, yet offers an ample work area and lots of storage space in the drawers. The interior is nicely lined with solid and figured walnut, the drawers are solid wood and have fine dovetailed joints.

The burr walnut grain patterns and colour are gorgeous throughout. We have had this recently French polished, it is in great condition for its age.
