Antique 1920s silver Cyma half hunter pocket watch
Antique 1920s silver Cyma half hunter pocket watch.
The watch has a nicely jewelled stem-winding movement which is working nicely (which has been identified as Cyma. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 51.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is .935 silver which is slightly purer than sterling silver .925 and has Swiss .935 silver marks. The case has light surface marks from use and some mild bruising to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece. The front has roman numerals filled with dark blue enamel set around a small lens some of the enamel has come out over the years but not noticeable to the naked eye.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.
The dial has several faint hairline cracks to the bottom but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands, which has the special half hunter hour hand so even when the front cover is closed, the hands can be distinguished between and the time read.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
