A lovely small Pail or Bucket in Fruitwood(?) it has a soft and allover faded colour and Patina and is Coopered with three Brass Bands.The top edge is scalloped as is the top of the carrying Handles.Inside is witness of a soft Green protective Paint reminiscent of the paint used inside early 19th century items.Diameter:-12.5cms.Max, Base:-10cms. Height:-13cms ( to top of Handles) 10cms to top edge.A rare piece of Treen for the Collector.c.1800-1820. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
